A permanently installed generator uses your home’s existing natural gas or liquid propane to supply fuel while it is running. The gas is connected to your generator and allows it to run automatically during a power outage.
We program the generator to perform a self test every other week. It starts automatically at a predetermined time and day, and runs for a few minutes. This does not interrupt your home’s normal power at all but it does verify that the generator is ready to operate correctly the next time you lose normal power.
The generator system is designed to know when the normal power to your home is restored. Then it automatically transfers your home’s electricity needs back to the utility power. The generator then turns off on its own and is ready for the next power outage.
